What this page covers
This page explains what Hearth Counseling collects when you visit this website or send us a message through it, and what we do with it. It doesn't describe what happens in therapy; your clinician explains that at your first session.
What we collect
If you write to us through the contact form, we receive your name, email address, phone number, how and when you would like to be reached, and the message you choose to write. Please don't include medical details in a message. This website uses no analytics tools, advertising pixels, session recordings or embedded schedulers.
How we use it
We use what you send only to reply to you and to set up a time. We don't sell, trade or rent it.
Cookies
This site sets only the cookies it needs to work. It sets no advertising or tracking cookies, and you can control cookies in your browser.
Your records
We keep your records private and share them only as the law allows or with your written permission.
Keeping messages secure
We take reasonable steps to protect what you send us. A message sent over the internet can't be made completely secure, so for anything urgent, please call.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your message by writing to hello@hearthcounseling.com. Some clinical records we are required by law to keep.
Changes to this page
If we change this page, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top.
